the night shift: the LLM vs jev

Ten support tickets are waiting. Each one is a decision — which team, how bad, does this person want a human. Decide each one with one of two tools, then carry the answer through the right door. The clock and the bill run the whole time.

• 1take a ticket from the INBOX (south) — walk up and press E. you carry it over your head.
• 2athe LLM machine (west): press E at it. it writes a whole paragraph, token by token — then its words fall on the floor. walk to the one that is the answer and press E to pick it up.
• 2bjev (east): press E next to the eye, then step on the pad of the right primitive — CHOICE one option out of a list · SCORE a level on a scale · NOUL is this true? one number from 0 to 1. a typed answer comes back in milliseconds, with probabilities and a confidence lamp.
• 3the doors (north): carry your answer through one. ACT when the model is sure (HIGH) · CONFIRM with the customer when it's only fairly sure (MEDIUM) · HUMAN when it isn't (LOW). the LLM gives you no number — that door is your call.
• ⚡then a flood: 30 seconds of tickets, jev answering as they land — you are the code that acts on the answer. at the end, the bill: your time per ticket, model calls, tokens and cost, LLM vs jev.
